After multiple field tests in normal and low lighting conditions, we experienced very minimum shutter lag. Rewindpix is capable of capturing flying birds in close distance.

The minimum shutter speed is set to 1/60s. Rewindpix is optimized to capture sharp, clear images, even in low light and night scenes. High blur free rate to freeze the moments.

Yes. We put a lot of effort into providing users with an accurate viewfinder. The large optical viewfinder, combined with precise frame lines, provides a superior framing experience that accurately matches the lens's focal length (35mm full-frame equivalent). This ensures that what you see is exactly what you get. (Note: Parallax effect still exist due to rangefinder formfactor)

Yes, for every film mode photo captured, we save an original photo (filter free) copy in SD card for remorse or retouch purpose in Rewindpix app or any other favorite filter apps.

Although Rewindpix looks and feels like film camera, it is a pure digital one. No film needed.

Yes, You can switch filters using the filter slide switch at the right side of the LCD screen. 3 default build in filters and many more in the App.

Film Mode works with our app, turning filters into your own film rolls. You can create endless film stocks and load them to your camera. See App page for detail.

No, Rewindpix can't swim or shower with you.

Rewindpix offers two tiers: 1.Free = Enjoy unlimited access to pre-installed filters and edit photos directly from your gallery at no cost, 2.Pro (Subscription): Unlock the full experience. Create your own custom filters and access advanced film simulation setting. You can also you the app as standalone to edit photos from phone gallery using saved custom films with one touch. ($9.9/lifetime, no monthly/yearly subscription need)

Basically, the app is trying to do an initial setup of installing the filter package from cloud since the actual file is too big to load in Google Store (max 200MB). So your timeout issue may be caused by a weak internet connection or insufficient available storage space in your device.

1. Switch Your Network: If you are on Wi-Fi, try switching to mobile data (or vice versa) to bypass potential router firewalls or localized ISP bandwidth throttling.
   
2. Check Free Space: Ensure your device has at least 500MB of free space. The app needs enough storage to temporarily hold and unpack these files.
   
3. Reinstall the App: Delete the app entirely, restart your device to clear the system cache, and do a fresh re-download from the App Store or Google Play Store to ensure the setup files are not corrupted.
   

If not the above issue, try to remain on app while it runs, don't leave the page.

Options:

1. Rebooting the camera - Press the mode and wifi button simultaneously for about 3 seconds to turn it off. Then turn it back on via the winder.
   
2. Use the screwdriver included in your box to reinsert the memory card.
   
3. Use a SD card reader to format the SD card on PC (FAT32)
   
4. Try different SD card (contact support@rewindpix.com to get a refund for the failed pre-installed SD card)

For Android user:

1. Turn on camera
   
2. Turn on wifi on camera (wifi signal will flash on off)
   
3. Turn off data/5G on phone (wifi remains on)
   
4. Connect phone to camera wifi (wifi signal on camera should not be flashing on off when connected)
   
5. Open app (Camera tab. It should sync automatically immediately or a few secs).
   

For Apple user, go to Settings>Privacy>Security and “Enable Local Network”.

You can use a USB-C cable to connect the camera to your device.

Press and hold Wifi and M button simultaneously for 3 seconds

Press and hold the WIFI button (usually about 2-3 seconds) until the Wifi logo on the screen goes off and shows your In Camera/Film Mode info

Try using a small pin to poke the tiny hole at the bottom of the camera for about 1 second for a hard reset.

Most likely it is because you haven't loaded any films especially if you notice the numbers on the bottom left shows 00/00.

Use the M button to change it to Film Mode.

Most likely it is because you had taken photos in the In Camera mode. Try using USB-C cable to connect camera to device to find your photos. If you want photos that have your film stocks applied, you need to toggle the M button to Film Mode

For example 34/36 。0010

First half means you have taken 2 photos in Film Mode. You have 34 takes left before you need to unload and reload your film (or just use the In Camera Mode).

Second half means you have taken 10 photos in In Camera Mode. Note that it does not count the original photos (without filter) autosaved from Film Mode.

If you see 00/00, means you didn't load any film! Go back to the app and load!

It may be the SD card is dislodged or corrupted. Try the following:

1. Opening the camera' bottom plate to take out the SD card.
   
2. Use a card reader to check if the SD card is readable.
   
3. Format the SD card (gentle reminder to perhaps save the photos first if any, as formatting will wipe out the card).
   
4. Reinsert into the camera as per normal.
   
5. Make sure connect camera to PC use a cable capabable of data transfer
   

Try connecting with cable again.

Currently the battery indication = range indication. So 60% means it is at 60%-100%, 30% = 30%-60% and 10%= 10%-30%.
